Here is the link for blender 2.50 alpha:

And the link for Inkscape 0.47:

Well Inkscape 0.47 is an stalbe release, bringing some cool vector effect over the path, simulating sketchs and hatches, between a lot more stuff and bug solving, but these 2 features are the ones I found the most usefull for myself, there is also something called Spyro but I don't really get it xD
Now for Blender 2.50 alpha, you may notice there an ALPHA in the name, this means its a very early version before being stable, normally an unstable release is called BETA, well alpha means that it is even more unstable xD.
Besides that it already feels a lot better then the previous version, the internal renderer is heavelly faster, in some cases nearing the 900%!! The interface is a lot more updated in graphical terms (it looks nice, and it seems that it should be more n00b friendly), but it has got me a bit clueless, and I'm missing some hotkeys 3_3...
Blender's Durian project seems to be progressing very smoothly so far and some cool test videos/renders are already online:

I want some free time to test them more seriously, as well as some extention to GIMP called Gimp for Painters (or Gimp Painter) and Gimp Paint studio.
And by the way, I finally ended Metroid Prime, a weird game, some aspects of it I really liked them, sometimes I found them really boring, and several times I found some other stuff plainly annoying, guess I'm not playing Metroid Prime 2 nor any other xD (Well maybe, just maybe Metroid 3 where you use the wii mote to aim, just because of that xD).
